Agri-Food Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre

Agri-Food Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre

Planned opening – spring 2028

At the heart of the Cité de l’innovation agroalimentaire, the Agri-Food Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre will offer companies a strategic location designed to support the development, validation, and commercialization of agri-food innovations. A true anchor within the ecosystem, it will enable companies to set up in a high-quality environment, in close proximity to the sector’s main scientific, technological, and industrial institutions.

Covering an area of approximately 1,400 m², the Centre will be located within a multifunctional complex in close proximity to the major institutions of the Cité de l’innovation agroalimentaire. It will bring together spaces that promote collaboration between entrepreneurs, researchers, and industrial and financial partners, including co-creation and networking spaces, shared laboratories accessible to businesses, and incubation spaces for longer-term establishment. User companies will also benefit from a range of business and innovation support services, backed by strategic partnerships that provide continuous support at all stages of technological maturity.

Designed to complement the existing ecosystem, this infrastructure will facilitate access to the expertise and specialized equipment already available in the City, while also providing access to resources offered elsewhere in Quebec through a federated digital platform. The Centre’s activities will be part of the “One Health” approach, promoting concrete mechanisms for collaborative innovation in animal health and food processing.
