About CTAQ
The Quebec Food Processing Council (CTAQ) is the largest food processing association in Quebec. It brings together more than 600 member companies of all sizes under 14 associations, representing 80% of the annual business volume of an industry worth nearly $40 billion.
A key player in the sector, the CTAQ represents the interests of its members and promotes excellence and sustainable growth among food processors by providing them with the tools, business intelligence, expertise, and network they need to accelerate their competitiveness.
About the Stratégie bioalimentaire Montérégie
The Stratégie bioalimentaire Montérégie (Montérégie Bio-Food Strategy) (SBM) is the name of the initiative resulting from the Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Bio-Food Sector for the implementation of structuring projects in Montérégie. This sectoral agreement brings together 21 signatory partners who have collectively invested $4.3 million for the period from 2021 to 2026 to support more than 30 structuring projects that meet regional priorities.
About Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole
Saint-Hyacinthe Technopole is the organization responsible for economic development in the Maskoutains RCM. Its mandate is to support the growth of existing businesses in the region and attract new ones, whether industrial or commercial. In particular, it oversees the operation and development of Quebec’s largest agri-food innovation hub and the Cité de l’innovation agroalimentaire, the associated technology park.
